Installation

Standard eaves. No surprises.

Full install guide in the Resources library.

01

Set out the battens

Fix 45 × 45mm H3 pine or galvanised steel battens at 450mm centres across the eaves frame. Check level before fixing.

02

Cut to width

Score the face with a Stanley knife and snap. For raking cuts use an angle grinder. All waste is non-toxic and safe to dispose of.

03

Fix and space

3mm expansion gap at all butt joints. Fix with 30mm galvanised clouts or Type 17 screws at 150mm centres along each batten.

04

Fill and paint

Fill butt joints with flexible exterior filler. Prime if painting light colours over bare MGO. One topcoat of exterior acrylic is sufficient.
